The diet

And if there is not enough external supply, deficiency symptoms occur, which ultimately also damage the immune system.

Because high concentrations of various nutrients can be found in different foods, it is advisable to eat as balanced a diet as possible. First of all, this means eating as much fresh fruit and vegetables as possible. Foods that contain a lot of sugar, on the other hand, should only be consumed in small quantities. The same applies to meat, although this can also be a good source of certain nutrients. The situation is different with regard to fish: It should not be consumed too seldom, as it provides our organism with extremely important omega-3 fatty acids, for example.
